Awardees serve as models for their colleagues, inspiration to their communities, and leaders in the improvement of mathematics and science education. We are proud to announce the 2017 PAEMST Science 7-12 State-Level Finalists:

NCSLA Spring Summit for Science/STEM Education Leadership

IMG 7856The NCSLA Spring Membership Meeting was held in Raleigh on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the James Hunt Library in Raleigh.

The meeting brought science and STEM educators leaders from across the state to network, celebrate, support, lead, and advocate for science/STEM leadership at the school, district, regional, and state levels. This meeting in particular looked at the state of science/STEM leadership in North Carolina, established a baseline to know what people and organizations are doing to provide leadership opportunities to stakeholders in science/STEM education, and shared ideas and strategies to strengthen science/STEM leadership across the state.
