Fall 2018 Science Leadership Summit

The theme of the Summit is "Science Everywhere" with an emphasis on both in and out of school science learning programs and activities across the state. We are so pleased to be able to host the Fall Summit at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte NC. Dennis Schatz, senior advisor at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle will be our keynote speaker. Dr. Christine Royce,current NSTA President will also speak at the Fall Summit.

Laboratory Waste Management

Science teachers and their supervisors need to know how to deal with lab chemical waste. The first thing is to develop chemical waste management guidelines.
