The NCSLA Fellows had the opportunity to attend the NSELA Conference in Historical Colonial Williamsburg this summer. Those in attendance enjoyed hearing from a variety of speakers concerning science education policies and practices. In addition, there were opportunities to collaborate with science leaders and policy makers from around the country.

The North Carolina Science Leadership Association’s Science Leadership Fellows Program is designed to develop leadership skills among science leaders and emerging leaders. Information about the program is on the NCSLA website.

The Fellows Program is open to formal and informal educators who would like to make a positive difference in science education in NC.  Applications for this fellowship will be available online at the end of September. The next cohort will begin in 2014..
