NCSLA Spring 2009 Meeting

The spring meeting was held on April 18, 2008 at the Embassy Suites in Cary, NC.

Agenda

12 pm NCSLA Luncheon (sponsored by Carolina Biological) and Business Meeting including the induction of new officers, presentation of the Distinguished Service Award and recognition of the NCSLA Science Leadership Fellows.

The luncheon speakers will be Michelle Benigno and Michelle Ellis, NCSLA Science Leadership Fellows in the 2007-2009 cohort.

1:30 pm "International Educational Experiences"

Guest speakers Fran Nolan and Harriett Stubbs will speak on science education outside the United States and what we can learn from international practices. There will be a short break sponsored by Vernier Software.
