NCSTA had a board meeting last January.  The primary focus was on approving the budget.  Michelle Benigno, now as president,  delegated the executive board to working groups, such as memberships, contracts, technology, etc.  The board also voted to hold the 2014 PDI at Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem.  NCSTA is working with NSTA to make sure arrangements are in place for the Regional Conference in Charlotte this fall.  The next board meeting will be March 23rd.

NSTA will be having their winter retreat the week of February 18th in Washington D.C.  The latest phone conference calls have discussed NGSS,
Dr. David L. Evans to serve as the new NSTA Executive Director, and upcoming preparations for the national conference in San Antonio.
